Welcome to my class!

Greetings students and parents!

I hope everyone had a great summer filled with fun and family time. I'm excited about our year together learning about the world around us and each other. Students in my class are expected to do their best and I will do all I can to help them reach their goals. We will be working on basic writing skills to build a foundation for challenges such as website creation, short movie scripts and podcasts. We will create many projects in a team format so we will work on communication skills that will be essential to your success. In math, we will be focusing on increasing mental math skills to develop speed and accuracy which will make the challenging work in grade five and six easier.
